I just got back from marching in the Lansing Memorial Day parade with my cousin Brian and some of his friends to help get his name out there for his Ingham County Commission race.
While I was certainly glad to help, I gotta say, that might’ve been the shortest parade I’ve ever seen. It lasted less than 30 minutes, and that was with us walking alongside the Sexton band the whole time. If you had been standing in one stationary position, the entire parade would’ve passed by in less than ten minutes.
