obama’s speech on race

I don’t care which candidate you’re supporting this year, you need to watch Obama’s speech from today:

These are probably the most honest and meaningful remarks any public figure has delivered on the issue on race in America since Martin Luther King, Jr.

As a guy who fills his bank account writing for a living, I’m particularly impressed (although not surprised) that Obama wrote this speech himself. After eight years of a president who can barely string three words together to form a coherent sentence, I can’t wait to have this man in the White House.
