Well, my two favorite teams won today — Michigan State and whoever’s playing Michigan (OSU in this case). It looked like the Spartoons were beat after that lousy first half, but I’m really proud of our guys for hanging in there and closing the game against a better opponent. Something we haven’t been able to do all year.
And of course it’s always great to see those furry rodents from Ann Arbor get beat by the Buckeyes. What’s this make it? *Four years in a row now?
Hey, Mike Hart… who’s supposed to be the little brother in that scenario?
Ah. A beautiful day for football, indeed.
*CORRECTION: As Grant pointed out, UM has only lost the last four matchups in a row against OSU, not six. However, they have lost six of their last seven. Just wanted to point out my mistake.

Congrats on the Spartys barely beating Penn State, I guess you get to go to what, the Motor City Bowl, that should be fun. Your new coach “John L.” Dantonio has done a great job!!
Hey I’m thrilled about going to any bowl game. Actually it’s funny. Eight home games for UM and one of the ten toughest schedules in the country for MSU and you only had one more victory than us. And let’s not even mention that whole Appalacian State thing.
Well, at least you got your money’s worth with those season tickets. I’m also proud of you for being a true fan and staying until the bitter end yesterday. It looked like there were quite a few Wolverine fans disguised as empty seats during the second half. Sure glad you stuck it out.
We have only lost 4 games in a row to OSU not 6 and that streak will come to an end next with Les Miles as coach now that Lloyd Copper is retiring. You must have gotten mixed up MSU is the team that has lost 6 in a row to there rivial.
Grant, I love you, but keep dreamin’:
I don’t care how much you love your alma mater. It’s tough to leave a gig like that. Especially for a program who’s best years may be behind it.
