Grinczel’s Fearless Predictions for MSU football

By ibzp on 09.01.07 | Comment

I think Steve’s guesses are as good as anyone’s, and these look like realistic predictions to me:

–UAB comes in woefully overmatched, and from what I hear feeling like it — MSU 45-3.
–The Spartans simply can’t lose to Bowling Green and retain any self respect — MSU 27-13.
–Pitt and MSU suffer similar personnel losses and MSU won last year on the road — MSU 21-17.
–The Spartans should have beaten a much better Notre Dame team last season — MSU 17-14.
–Wisconsin good — UW 35-10.
–MSU and Northwestern traded debacles the last two seasons — MSU 24-20.
–I believed in Indiana with Hoeppner; sorry, the Hoosiers are back to square one — MSU 35-14.
–Dantonio goes back to Ohio State, but his stable has fewer horses — OSU 21-6.
–Iowa is where MSU will be in a few years, program-wise — Iowa 27-17.
–Michigan will be closing in on an undefeated season, but it won’t be easy in EL — U-M 42-28.
–Purdue is my surprise team in the Big Ten and MSU is still hurting from U-M — PU 30-10.
–With depth an issue all season long, MSU’s tank is empty by the finale — PSU 20-7.
