morgan pohl, starring in: the wizard of oz

Here are the details (from All-of-us Express):

July 27-28 & August 3-4, 2007, Hannah Community Center in East Lansing. Show times 7:30 Fridays, 2:00 Saturdays. Tickets are $5 (youth) / $7 (adult) at the door. (We have 1:00 Friday shows for groups only; reservation required. Please call the office for information about making a pre-paid reservation for one of the group shows.)

The Wizard of Oz is our big summer show, with a cast including ages six through eighteen. All your favorite characters, plus more Munchkins, Mice and Winkies than you can count!

Based on L. Frank Baum’s novel, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and adapted for performance by R. Eugene Jackson. Presented by special arrangement with I.E. Clark, Schulenberg TX 78956.

Directed by Artistic Director Evelyn Weymouth, with casts and crews of local young people.

Morgan will be playing Munchkin #__ (dad, what was the number again?)

Stefy and I are planning on attending this Saturday’s performance, for anyone else in town who’s interested in going.

Of course, what I want to know is when All-of-us Express will put on something really hip, like The Producers (which, coincidentally, we went to see in London exactly two years ago). I don’t know about you, but I think a bunch of little kids running around singing “Springtime for Hitler” would be a laugh riot.
