Not to be overshadowed by The Police concert earlier this week, Stefy and I are driving to the newly re-christened “Fillmore Detroit” (formerly The State Theater) tomorrow evening to see another one of my favorite bands, Guster.
For those who don’t remember, we saw them at the MSU Auditorium last April, and it was a great show. The one hitch about that particular concert was that their new album hadn’t come out yet, so a bunch of the new material they played was completely foreign to us. Now that Ganging Up on the Sun has been out for a little over a year, I think we’ll be able to appreciate some of their newer songs a lot more.
Anyway, in honor of tomorrow’s show, here are the top five Guster songs I want to hear the most:
