Does anyone else feel sorry for this kid? I mean, he was probably going to struggle to make it in the NFL no matter who drafted him, but after being picked up by the hapless Lions in the second round of the draft, his pro career is already doomed.
Michael Rosenberg of the Free Press seems to agree, calling Stanton a “dud.” Yikes. Anyone else taking bets on how long it takes for him to end up in the arena league with Jeff Smoker?
